Short Course starts at 7:30 AM on April 4, Half Iron starts at 7:30 AM on April 5, Quarter Iron Starts at 8:30 AM on April 5, at Moody Gardens, Galveston, Texas. No rain date. Race management reserves the right to modify or shorten the race course in the case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, and to accept or reject any entry. No transfers, substitutions. The minimum age to compete is 15.

LONE STAR KIDS FUN RUN

$10 (includes a t-shirt). To receive a t-shirt, you must register your child by March 14, 2009.

The dinner will be from 6:30-8:30 PM on Friday evening, April 3rd.
Adult dinners are $30.00, Kids (ages 4-11) are $15.00, with all of the net proceeds benefiting Athletes For a Cure. Athletes for a Cure, a program of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, is a fundraising and awareness program to assist individual athletes in their quest to raise money for better treatments and a cure for prostate cancer. Every dollar raised from the program goes directly to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Admission is limited, and tickets must be pre-ordered online at the race registration link.

PALM BEACH CARBO LOAD LUAU

Carbo Loading, tropics-style. On SATURDAY evening, April 4, chill out, relax and grab a great meal under the palm trees and stars, on the white sands of Moody Gardens’ Palm Beach. Overlooking Offat’s bayou, tiki torches will be a blazin’, music will be playing… a great way to spend the evening before the big day, for kids and adults. While you’re eating, kiddos can play on the beach!A great dinner will be served, with pasta, marinara and alfredo sauce, chicken and shrimp, freshly baked garlic bread, fresh mixed green salad, Caesar salad, marinated cucumber and tomato salad, chef’s miniature desserts, coffee and iced tea.

Dinners are $27.00 per person, $22.00 for kids 4-11. Dinner will be served from 5:30 - 7:30pm on Saturday evening, April 4. Admission is limited, and tickets must be pre-ordered online at the race registration link.

MOODY GARDENS DISCOUNTED PASSES

$24 (must be pre-ordered). Passes may be ordered online at the race registration link.

REFUND POLICY:

A partial refund will be made of $40 for the Short Course Distance, $50 for the Quarter Iron, and $100 for the Half Iron, if requested, in writing, on or before March 1, 2009. RACE CONFIRMATION:

Your cancelled check will serve as initial proof of race entry. Please clearly print your e-mail address on the application. A confirmation card/letter with travel directions, hotels, and course maps will be sent or e-mailed if you include your e-mail address. ALL race entries confirmed daily at www.Lin-mark.com.

PACKET PICK-UP:

For the SHORT COURSE, 4-7 PM on Friday evening and 5:30 AM Saturday at Moody Gardens, Galveston. USAT members must bring a photo ID and your USAT membership card. One day licensees must include an additional $10 to entry fee. FOR THE HALF IRON and QUARTER IRON, you may pick up your packet at Moody Gardens Saturday from 1-6 PM, at the Lone Star FEST, Moody Gardens. NO PACKET PICKUP IS AVAILABLE ON RACE DAY FOR THE QUARTER IRON OR HALF IRON, unless prior arrangements are made with the Race Director. You may contact him at keith@timbermantri.com.
